Description:

The main aim of the project is to evaluate and test new, advanced materials and technologies used in EU and USA for conditioning of radioactive and hazardous wastes. The following materials will be examined: advanced cement mixtures, geopolymers, sulphur cements and new types of sorbents. The materials will be based on secondary, waste materials generated in the Czech Republic. The results will be know-how on new advanced materials and technologies necessary for the conditioning of radioactive and hazardous wastes generated in the Czech Republic.
