Description:

Analysis of the impact of climatic and hydrological processes on the development of catastrophic fracturing of natural and artificial slopes. Development of methods for the compilation of forecasting maps for the evaluation of areas of geodynamic risk processes with aim to enhance reliability of dangerous geodynamic phenomena prognosis. Development of methods monitoring contemporary activity of dangerous slope movement types and methods forecasting their spatial and time developments. Analysis of the causes of dangerous bulk changes in clayey rocks, conditioned by climatic conditions. Weathering processes in rock complexes influenced by mineral extraction. Changes in rock composition induced by thermal metamorphosis. Study of the migration of seismic foci and release of seismic energy in relation to pulsating pressures in a subterranean gas storage facility. Evaluation of seismic effects of large-scale technical works on the surrounding natural environment. Limiting the harmful effects of building, industrial and other technogenous activities on the surrounding rock environment.
