Description:

For natural organic substances the presence of microporous phase composed from solid phase and a system of voids of molecular size is characteristic. The aim of the project is the study of processes running of their interface surface.
1. At substance where the sorption in the microporous phase is accompanied with dissolving of vapour and gas molecules in the solid phase which is connected with its swelling. It will be determined the critical pressure after its attainment the molecules of vapour and gases start to be absorbed in the solid phase.
2. The conditions will be investigated under which the desorption branch of the isotherm passes under the adsorption one.
3. The experimental and thermodynamics conditions of the exchange sorption for different pairs of gases taking part in these processes will be determined. To acquire the necessary values a gravimetric sorption device with high accuracy of measurement will be applied. Enthalpy and entropy of all processes will be calculated.
