University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague – Chemistry and technology of inorganic materials: MSc. (1999), Ph.D. (2007)
He started working as a laboratory assistant at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry during his engineering studies at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague – initially with Assoc. Prof. Ing. Jiřà Hostomský, Ph.D. (viscosity of alum solutions for the research of procedures for remediation after uranium mining by leaching bedrocks with sulfuric acid), then with MSc. Dimitrij Ležal, DrSc. (heavy metal oxide glasses transmitting infrared radiation). During his doctoral studies, he carried out several internships at the University of Rennes 1 (Prof. Marcel Poulain – 3 months French government scholarship, 4 months industrial project, follow-up annual Erasmus + another 2 years). Doctorate focused on special glasses – tutors: Dr. D. Ležal, Prof. M. Poulain and Prof. MSc. LubomÃr NÄ›mec, DrSc. – defended in 2007. Since 2006 working as researcher at the Laboratory of Inorganic Materials at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, and after a structural change since 2012 at the Institute of Rock Structure and Mechanics.
