Usage:

The Radim 3A is a portable radon monitor designed for measuring of air radon concentration (ARC). The Radim 3A also continuously records temperature, air pressure, and relative humidity. Data reading and transfer is realized by connection with PC by RS232 (COM). The instrument equipment includes user-friendly software which allows to easy data import to MS Excel and graphical interpretation of results. The main features of this instrument are high precision of measurement (instrument response) and long continuous battery operation.

Principle of measurement:

The radon activity is determined by measuring the alfaactivity of RaA, collected by the electric field on the surface of the semiconductor detector.
