Multi-approach study of processes in sandstone exposures: new view on study and interpretation of selected sandstone
landforms

The aim of this project is to characterize the important properties and processes governing salt weathering and fluid migration in the superficial zone of sandstone bodies, and also to test and improve the hypotheses which explain cavernous weathering of sandstone (tafone and honeycomb formation).
