Basic information

The library fond represents about 27 500 volumes in the field of Earth sciences. The library gets new titles of magazines and books through purchase, gifts and exchange between Czech and foreign institutions. It offers also a magazine published by the institute for exchange. Librarian system ISIS is gradually substituted by ALEPH system. The librarians are engaged in inter-library and international inter-library loan services. Reprographic services are done.
