Description:

Project deals firstly with methodical approaches that allow data obtained by direct investigations of dynamic movements of the Earth’s surface to be applied in tasks of land and urban planning and in tasks of earthquake engineering designing. It concerns of movements caused by long-term geodynamic processes passing in the Earth’s crust that deform irreversible its surface and by short-term earthquake motions produce intensive strong seismic waves. Criteria classifying these movements with respect their sizes and direct effects to building objects will be done. Then the criteria will allow zones of the Earth’s surface mobility caused by the processes above mentioned to be identified. Unstableness of each zone will be assessed both of measured and interpreted GPS, InSAR and levelling data and of observed effects of the seismic waves and their relations to local geological structures.
