Description:

In the past, the coupled modelling (mutual influence of input data for mathematical and for physical models from equivalent materials) proved several advantages when dealing with geotechnical structures. In the grant project a new procedure for assessment of such structures is proposed, starting with evaluation of internal parameters of the mathematical physically non-linear model using partial results of the physical models. The internal parameters may be stand for plastic, viscoplastic or another non-linearizing effects. Model will be combined with Desai’s disturbance function. The procedure may be considered as a special case of inverse analysis. The parameters will be used as the arguments for increasing the bearing capacity of structure and economic optimisation.
