    PROJECT CONTENT

    Build of the Center of Texture Analysis revealed many years of experience gained from studying the arrangement, composition, structure of organic and inorganic components in rocks and derived materials.

    Current applications in geology and ecology are increasingly focusing on the deeper understanding of textures, both on structure, composition and properties of individual components with respect to the origin and formation of the materials studied, as well as the properties and behavior during natural, anthropogenic and technical processes, including ability sorption of organic compounds and trace elements, some of which pose a risk of environmental and human health. Taking into account the current trend is reasonable to assume that in the future the rights to such information will escalate.

    The subject of the project of the Centre of Texture Analysis is creating conditions for scientific work, which corresponds to the highest world standards of science. The backbone will be complementary methods of optical microscopy and sorption analysis, that will work primarily characterized samples. The project aims to strengthen the top scientific positions in these areas to IRSM AS CR.
